DOOHYUN YOON
Biography 


Doohyun Yoon is a Korean artist. He was born in 1986 at Busan, South Korea. He is heavily influenced by his hometown in the countryside of South Korea. Busan is located on the plains where a river meets the sea allowing one to experience both elements at the same time. 

​He received his BFA in Environmental Sculpture from the University of Seoul in 2011. He was awarded the 2012 Artist- Incubating Program in 2012 at Open Space Bae for a year. 

​In May of 2016, He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with an MFA in Multidisciplinary Art and was the recipient of the Mount Royal Graduate Fellowship. Currently, He is participating in the Chashama Residency Program in Brooklyn and AIM Program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts in Bronx.
